My first reaction to the debut photo of Ella was that she actually had a little "Charity" in her in spite of everyone else's comments of how she looked like Greg. Well, I have since been proven otherwise. Hope you all continue to catch up on some sleep.
I usually don't see how kids look like their parents but if Ella had just a little less hair on top, she would look exactly like Greg. She's very beautiful, congratulations!
My sister-in-law just had a baby boy this week. My father-in-law and I were commenting that he looked like every other newborn we've seen; we didn't understand how some people were trying to pick out features from the father or mother. From that anecdotal evidence, we were attempting to state a universal principle that most newborns are non-descript in their appearance, and it's a stretch to find particular family resemblances.
I take it all back. Ella is distinctly the Funky Presbyterian's child -- astoundingly so! This anecdotal evidence leads me to believe that Greg has very strong genes.

yup! that's greg's daughter. a mirror image it would seem.
