You know, Wrestlers don't know how to take it easy. Which is why I fouled out of every single one of my intramural basketball games I ever played. Most of them in the first quarter. And no I'm not joking. We lost our first game 43 to 7. But I am convinced that had I not fouled out, the score would have been at least 43 to 9.
I bit a kid in a match once. I call that, not taking it easy! It led to my disqualification.
I was pulled from our "Campus Crusade Basketball" game, not because I fouled out, but because I fouled a guy up with a "high-cross body" maneuver and they said I was being a "bad witness", so I was on the proverbial pine. We lost to the football team 128 to 28. Lou Moon of Springfield, OH had 20 of our points. My friend Jason fouled Ramier Martin, I think it was, and he said, "You touch me again, and I will break your arm." Not a whole lot that 5'6" and 145 lbs can do to 6'3" 205 and bigger.
