Funky, is that what you are trying to say when we talk about culture? If so, we really ain't far apart at all, I don't think. There may be some "practical" differences, but I liked the article.
I'm glad I came across your blog. I attend a church that could probably be called evangelical, but their sister church is a progressive Presbyterian one, and the minister is very funky. I guess God has to find all sorts of ways to reach his flock. I can't say I am a Christian per se, but I am searching!
